How it Works

Step 1

Free Phone Consultation

Contact Susan to schedule a free phone consultation. On this call, she will gather information about your project, including time frame, areas that need organization, your location, and your budget. She will answer any questions you have! If it sounds like a good match, together you will schedule an on-site assessment.

Step 2

Free On-Site Assessment

The on-site assessment is free and lasts about one hour. During this time, Susan will walk through your space to identify priorities and the best approach to create organizing systems in your home or office. She will take notes and photos (with your approval). At this point, you are ready to schedule your organizing sessions!

Step 3

Organizing Sessions Begin!

It's time to get organized! We offer organizing sessions Monday - Friday and typically run 2-4 hours each (this can be adjusted based on your personal circumstances). We charge $85 per hour. 

 

Each appointment includes:

 

  • Presorting and decluttering to create space.

  • Containing and storing what you keep. Susan tries to use containers you already own or can recommend products to purchase.

  • Resources for donating, hauling or recycling items.

  • Check-in via phone or email between sessions as needed.

 

During the hands-on organizing sessions, you will work side-by-side with Susan. She assists with making decisions, but her clients always decide what to keep and what to donate or toss.

 

Susan is very knowledgeable about local resources, including where to donate, dispose or recycle items, where to purchase items necessary during the organizing process, and whom to call for additional help (such as a handyman or real estate agent). Her exceptional customer service skills will show you that she is so much more than a clutter-clearing expert — this home-grown Portlander is also a connector of needs and resources.

 

Payment is due at the end of each session, payable by cash or check.
