Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this workbook designed for?

Life Organization by Generation is especially valuable for adults in their 60s, 70s, and beyond who want to get their affairs in order, whether for their own peace of mind or to make things easier for the people they love. That said, anyone who wants one organized place for all of life's important information will benefit from it. Many adult children purchase it for a parent, or start one for their own family.

Do I have to finish the whole workbook?

Not at all! You can start with the sections most relevant to you and build from there. Susan will help you prioritize based on your situation and what feels most pressing.

How many guided sessions will I need?

That depends on how much you already have gathered and how many sections you'd like to complete. Some clients finish key sections in two or three sessions; others prefer to work through the full workbook over time. Susan will give you a realistic sense of what to expect after your free assessment.

Can my sessions be done virtually?

Yes! Susan offers both in-person sessions in the Portland, Oregon area and virtual sessions for those who prefer to meet by video call.

What if this is too emotional?

That's a very natural response. Thinking about legacy, end-of-life wishes, and important documents can bring up a lot of feelings. Susan has supported many clients through exactly this, and she approaches every session with compassion and patience. You set the pace.

How do I purchase the workbook?

Information about purchasing Life Organization by Generation on its own is coming soon. In the meantime, we'd love to help you get started with a Guided Session.
